Parameter passing problem in SSRS 2008 when i enable an action to a report
I created a report A with a report parameter "Year", I put a table with some fields on report A. In one field "Date", I enable an action to report B and set report B's parameter "Year" value to the same value as "Date" in order to pass "Date" to report B. Report B has the same parameter "Year" with report A. I put a text box on B and set the value to the same value as "Year". But I can't get the expect result. the value displays on report B is always the value of the report parameter "Year" in report A. But if I change "Year" to "Year1" in report A, then I can get the expect result. I'm very confused. Looking forward to your solutions.

Hi Brooks Zhang, Is Textbox's expression =Parameters!Year.value? If so, I think the textbox's value displays on report B should be the value of the report parameter "Year" in report A, as this value is passed from the ReportA, just as your statement " I enable an action to report B and set report B's parameter "Year" value to the same value as "Date" in order to pass "Date" to report B." Here you still mentioned changing "Year" to "Year1", could you please give some explanation to "Year1", is it another parameter's name ? Thanks for your further information, which is a big help for us supply further information.
