This issue is very intermittent. It will work for everyone for a while, then stop working for some people and not others. It's not consistent who it happens to. Sometimes a reboot fixes it, sometimes not.

We have a page viewer web part pointing to a shared html file on a local server. I can navigate to it directly just fine. I can view it on my PC. But sometimes, it stops showing up. The SharePoint page will load fine, but the web part is blank. Permissions for the page are fine.

Any ideas?

Just make another Shared folder and put your html file there  in your local server .Provide reference in page viwer web part and now check .

Is there any content editor webpart in the page?

Having this same issue.  Have 2 page viewer webparts rendering our secure apps.  Sometimes they both render, sometimes only one will, and other times both will not show up.  We also have a content editor webpart on the same page.  All using Shibboleth SSO.

Any suggestions??
