Page (not table) headers rendering only on last page - Report Builder 3.0
Okay, I'm ready to pull my hair out but there HAS to be a way to do this "simple" thing. I have a report set up as (List1_Details_Group) and includes fields for ClientName and ID. The report is grouped by a field called ServiceID. It is basically a note for each particular service performed on a "client". I have included a PAGE header but because there are multiple datasets, I cannot just put the fields I need in the page header. So, after researching, I created the fields I need in the header (Client Name and ID#) as hidden fields at the bottom of the report and then referred to them in the header e.g. =ReportItems!ClientNameForHeader.Value. Voila - so I think this is it and the header will print out on all pages after page 1. But no, when the report is run and rendered, if a particular "service" details runs more than 2 pages, the header only prints on the last page. Works great for all the services that are only 2 pages. If I put the hidden fields at the top of the report, that of course doesn't work either. After reading and researching, this seems to be an ongoing problem with promises that there will eventually be a fix. But I'm still hoping someone can help me. Hopefully I put enough information in this post so you can understand what I'm trying to do. I desperately need a fix for this as we are mandated to have the name and ID on every page. PLEASE HELP!!!! You will be my hero!!!!
