Package name(s)
Hi Experts, We have list of tables, now we need to find out which package is using which table, can give find out? If so how? or please any usefully links or examples. Thanks Kumar

Since a SSIS package is simply an XML file just open it up in any text editor and do a search in it. Better yet, if the amount of tables is large you may dump it to a file, too. From this point you may use an Xref tool of some kind or build a script that will cycle through the files to find the tables in use.Arthur My Blog

Can't be done easily. However, if you are brave, yuo could read the XML directly and look for specific table names in the code. Just don't change anything while you're in there or you may corrupt the package(s).Todd C - MSCTS SQL Server 2005 - Please mark posts as answered where appropriate.
