Package loading wih errors in different environments
varTBLSourceExtract contains an SQL statement. The version we are using is 2008 and the same versions are installed in other machines too....if i open the package in another system also i face this problem...please help me out

Do you have the same versions of the Oracle Attunity controls loaded on all machines? Assuming SQL 2008 it would be one of (1.0/1.1/1.2) Chuck

My system have the attunity driver version of 32 bit 11.1 and the dev/prod has 64 bit 11.2 version. Please tell me how to proceed

And in order to open the package in BIDS you would need to have the 32 bit oracle driver and controls loaded on the dev prod systems.Chuck

sorry i meant the oracle cleint version numbers above....my issue has been resolved by doing the changes in dev environ and copied that version to TFS and that worked for me :) Thanks All

we have an existing package in SSIS (made some changes for variables and expression) and the package runs fine on my machine. But when i open the pkg in devlopment/prod/ any other's sytem the pkg loads with the following errors: Error at Transform and load XXXXX: The result of the expression "@[User::varTBLSourceExtract]" on property "[Oracle Source].[SqlCommand]" cannot be written to the property. The expression was evaluated, but cannot be set on the property. Please tell me how this problem can be solved.

What does the varTBLSourceExtract variable contain? What version(s) of SQL Server do you have on your machine, and what version(s) are installed on the other machine(s)? Talk to me now on

Wild guess maybe the Orcale source connectivity is all set up properly as in terms of .tnsconfig entries but not the case in other environments. Abhinav
