Hi, You should install FIM server in A forest because it's the forest with PCNS configure. Doing this the FIM server could authenticate to forest A to receive PCNS events. Btw it's possible to install FIM in forest B but in this case you must implement forest trust between A and B You can found more information in the Automated Password Synchronization Solution Guide for MIIS 2003 (we talk about FIM but the way to implement PCNS is no such different) Hope this helps Fabrice
