PAGE_ERROR_IN_UNPAGED_AREA
Currently experiencing an issue with the latest build of Windows 10 (10130) and the 352.84 drivers. Whenever you try and enter "hyperspace" the game freezes for about 3-4 seconds and then BSODs with the error "PAGE_ERROR_IN_UNPAGED_AREA" within "dxgmms2.sys".

Looking up dxgmms2.sys, it appears to be a DirectX issue. I'm not sure whether that's incorporated under NVIDIA's drivers or the Windows 10 build itself, however I've reported this to Microsoft so I figured I may as well make it known here too in case it's actually an issue with the drivers.

We do need the actual log files (called a DMP files) as they contain the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

Please follow our instructions for finding and uploading the files we need to help you fix your computer. They can be found here If you have any questions about the procedure please ask

arndt65,

Well thanks for your sharing.

PAGE_ERROR_IN_UNPAGED_AREA bug check has a value of 0x00000050. This indicates that invalid system memory has been referenced.

Bug check 0x50 usually occurs after the installation of faulty hardware or in the event of failure of installed hardware (usually related to defective RAM, be it main memory, L2 RAM cache, or video RAM).

Another common cause is the installation of a faulty system service.

Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume.

More information, please check:
