Currently I have 200+ applications which need to be monitor and few of them need to alert on % health state of servers. Hi If you are creating your own rule \ monitor then you can return the effective threshold via a property bag which can be included in an alert description. If you are using a sealed rule \ monitor then you can't change what the author hasn't exposed as an override and I don't think any alert descriptions are available as overrides. I did create a feedback item in 2010 (ID 547786) asking for alert descriptions to be exposed as overrides but no luck so far.
