Overlap boundary between SCCM 2007 and SCCM 2012 to support HTTPS only

Hi

We are migrating SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012 .

To avoid boundary overlap, I have not enabled Site Assignment on SCCM  2012, I did Client push for upgrade from SCCM 2012. Client has installed properly and registration has failed. We are using Https only.

After that I have enabled site assignment for specific boundary. Client has registered properly on sccm 2012.

I am monitoring overlapped boundary machines on sccm 2007.  As of now we have not encountered any issues in SCCM 2007 and SCCM 2012.

Any guess on expected issues on overlap boundary between sccm 2007 and SCCM 2012 for Site Assignment.

Thanks

You will run into issues when you're using automatic site assignment during the deployment, or if you do something simple as using the Find Site button in the client properties. How many primary sites are there? Auto site assignment is not needed if there's just a standalone primary.
