Outlook Add-in Certificate Updated, but Trusted Publisher Status inside Outlook Not Updated
Our certificate expired on 10/7/09 and we updated it timely. On updating our application which includes an Outlook Add-in, all of the DLL properties show the new expiration date of 2010, but Outlook Trust Center/Trusted Publishers shows the old expiration date. This station is a Windows 7 workstation running Outlook 2007. All system and office updates applied. When Macro Security is set to "Warnings for all macros" I not only get warnings on our add-in, but several others also. The warnings happen each time Outlook is started. That doesn't work too well. The only alternative is to disable the security check. There seems to be a problem on startup of Outlook that it is not reading the property in the add-in loader. PatDSome more information:We removed our name from the Outlook Trusted Publishers (Tools Menu) which had the expired date. Outlook did not add our name back in with the new date. It looks like Outlook is not reading the certificate. We have gone through every file that can be signed and all are signed with the 2010 date.
