Outlook 2013 Default Signatures (new, reply/forward)

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has had any success with the Outlook 2013 Default signature setting saving and roaming.

We are setup with UEV 2.1
Office 2013 Pro Plus SP1

Users have mandatory profiles

users do not have admin access

Windows 7 ENT SP1

Because our users have mandatory profiles when they log on the user profile gets overwritten or if they roam to another computer where they have not already logged on. The first time the user launches outlook it builds the Outlook profile in HKCU, because UEV is set to write the "New Signature" to the profile key path however Default Outlook profile cannot be found and thus does not write the key. If the user closes outlook and reopens the Default profile key is available and UEV can now write the "New Signature" key.

Below is the output from MS (ticket is still open)

Hi

It might be a timing issue do you have the Agent to Wait for sync on application start ?

No such luck, I changed the Wait for Sync on App Start and logon.  Changed the Sync Provider to none. Disabled DFSN ping, no luck.

I also tried removing all of the GPOs from the computer and User.  No luck

I removed the mandatory profile from the user and left it to be local. No luck

I'm in the process of doing a clean install of Win7 to see if it has to do with my image.

Thanks

You could do it another way, you could copy the signature .htm file to and from the users profile on login and logoff using a script. This is how we do it, the UEV agent can roam the reply/ forward key settings. It works really well both for UEV2.0 and 2.1.
