Optimize SCCM 2007 Remote Control and Remote Assistance in low bandwidth environments
Hi All, I'm experiencing issues (slow) with Remote Control and Remote Assistance when I'm connecting from the Main Office to Computers located in Branch Offices. I found that you could use a GPO for Remote Assistance that only works on Vista and later. So, how do I optimize Remote Control and Remote Assistance in this kind of environments? Note: I have Windows XP and a few windows 7 computers. Regards.Regards. Jos Osorio.

Hi, 1# for remote assistance, you can use the "turn on bandwidth optimization" rule in GPO. 2# for remote desktop you can configure the option "Choose your connection speed to optimize performance" locally, I don't remember if that option is available on GPO !! You can verify.Bechir Gharbi | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/bgharbi/
