I have recently inherited our Ops Mgr environment and am trying to setup a test server to learn on. The server is running 2008 Enterprise SP2 64bit and SQL 2008 Standard SP2 64bit. I have followed what I believe to be all of the install prerequisites. When I attempt to install Ops Mgr 2007 R2, setup gets toward the end of the install, rolls back and fails. It seems to be failing at the "Installing Performance Counters" section. I have included an excerpt from the install log below. I have been able to install the database component successfully, so I am assuming it is an issue with the Management server portion of the install. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
