Does anyone know if CTP 2 has support for SQL 2012? We are trying to install this in our lab, but can't get past the SQL Server screen in the installation. It is a SQL 2012 installation we are trying to connect to, but get the following message: This SQL server could not be found. Please check that this SQL server is running and that the current user has login permissions. Any help or feedback is appreciated. Thanks, Bob

Hi Yes, there is support for SQL 2012. Things to checl: - SQL Server agent is running - SQL Full Text Search service is installed - I had an issue where by I had SQL SysAdmin privileges via group login to SQL and I couldn't connect. I had to create a login specifically for my windows account with SQL SysAdmin rights. - Windows Firewall ?
