OpsMgr console has no reports and RMS logs Exception: Invalid column name 'SchemaName'.
I inheritied a SCOM R2 CU1 system in my developement environment. Both the RMS and the remote SQL server are version 6.1.7221.0. However there are no reports in the console or on the SSRS reports page. All I see in the reports is the 'Data Warehouse Main' data source, My Reports, and Users Folders. In the RMS eventlog I do have the recurring error: Failed to deploy Data Warehouse component. The operation will be retried. Exception 'DeploymentException': Failed to perform Data Warehouse component deployment operation: Install; Component: Script, Id: 'e27ba6b3-43c5-1617-b1e4-29ece3abf589', Management Pack Version-dependent Id: '1a6256f5-34ab-fbb2-4223-8a6ad73a196c'; Target: Database, Server name: 'DEVSQL01', Database name: 'OperationsManagerDW'. Batch ordinal: 5; Exception: Invalid column name 'SchemaName'. When searching for this error, all I could find are references to the R2 upgrade not being run on the DW server. However, when I query the OperationsManager and the OperationsManagerDW they both report 6.1.7221.0. I tried removed the reporting instance, ran the ResetRS.exe, and redeployed the RS on the SQL server but the issue is still continues. Anyone else have a good thought on this?

Yes, these are all on SQL 2008. The OperationsManager, OperationsManagerDW, and SSRS are all on the same SQL server (Not the RMS). The SSRS is on its own named instance (scom). If I go to localhost/reports_scom and localhost/reportserver_scom they do correctly render and I can see the Data Source and the default folders and images but I do not see any of the Management Packs listed. If I add a folder through the SSRS interface it does appear in the SCOM console so I think this is a DW database to SSRS issue.

Hi, Please check the DWDBVersion in the following Registry Key: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Operations Manager\3.0\Reporting\ Is it 6.1.7221.0? If not, please try upgrading it to R2. If the issue persists, I think the reporting may be corrupted, and you can try repairing it. In addition, I would like to share the following with you for your reference: Installing Operations Manager 2007 Reporting successfully http://blogs.technet.com/b/momteam/archive/2008/12/04/installing-operations-manager-2007-reporting-successfully.aspx Thanks, Leon Leon Liu - Technical Lead
