The Operations manager health service needs to be disbaled on the server or on the client computer ?? secondly how can i stop operations manager health serivce on client computer and start it again so that i clean clear the data in it Second thing is can i increase the size for the queue rather than clearing up the data inside the health service folderCerebral Assasin

hi, the health service does not need to be disabled it needs to be stopped and restarted after u clear the folder. on the client. from a run window type services.msc look for the ops mgr health service (systems centre management service if ur scom is 2007 r2) right click on it and select stop. after you clear the contents then you go back to services and start the health mgt service yes you can increase the sender queue size on the scom server just follow wally's blog (the second link above)!

Hi Esakz, If you decide not to increase the sender queue size and it reaches the 100% mark, then data starts getting prunned (deleted).
