Operation manager Report generation (SCOM 2007 R2)
Hello,
I have a requiremet to generate a report for the below from SCOM (2007 R2).
Instannce Name(Object) Rule Name(Optional)
Counter Name Operating System Version
web service Web Service\Current Connections (Total) Performance Rule Current Connections
windows 2008
web service Web Service\Bytes Received/sec (Total) Performance Rule Bytes
Received/sec
web service Web Service\Bytes Sent/sec (Total) Performance Rule Bytes

I searched for the Windows 2008 OS computers and then selected the above counters as mentioned but the report is not showing any data, it just comes out blank.
I am very new to SCOM and need your help.

yes, I can see that in perfmon in the server. I ma thinking, do I need to have any specific managementpack installed to capture this report..or the defaut Windows OS MP will do the job
Thanks

One of the scom report issues is to find out the correct object to display especially for the beginner.
You may try to modify the select the object as IIS web server and path is XXXX where is your computer FQDN name

This supposed to be in IIS MP but since you can see it so it should be imported, i need to confirm that in the performance monitor in the specified server you can open these counters and get data if so, there might be a problem in the agent, you
can restart the system center management service in that specified server

Thanks MedhatRizk,
I am trying to pull the data for a bunch of 30 servers and I can generate memory and processor reports without any issues. So there is no problem with the agent.
Also, I can see that the MP "Windows Server 2008 Internet Information Services 7" version "6.0.7600.0" is already there.
Do I need to import the IIS management pack version 6.0.7600.0 from
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=9815.
Is the above mentioned MP different than "Windows Server 2008 Internet Information Services 7" version "6.0.7600.0".
Thanks,Thanks

no it's the same.
but you didn't get my point i mean to get those specific counter you mentioned
web service
Web Service\Current Connections (Total) Performance Rule Current Connections windows 2008
web service
Web Service\Bytes Received/sec (Total) Performance Rule Bytes Received/sec
web service
Web Service\Bytes Sent/sec (Total) Performance Rule Bytes sent/sec
from performance monitoring
open administrative tool in the specified server then performance monitoring then go to performance monitoring and click add counter
and open web service and add those 3 and see if the result is zero or not

yes...I checked in one server and not seeing any data in perfmon counters also..all the lines are just coinciding with zero line.
I am checking on other servers also...
But now my question is, the SCOM report should also show in the same way...with an X axis and a Y axis but no data..or values as zero at different sampled interval?? but why it is not showing in that way???..so that it would have been easier to
understand that there is no data or the sample data should show zero always.
In SCOM report, we dont see any graph at all..the graph is never generated (not even the X and Y axis)..I think this is something strange..and its some other issue...because if the data values are getting collected at different sample intervals...it should
show taht samples..whether its 0 or 100.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks,Thanks

Hello!
Have you enabled the collection rules? According to the latest IIS MP documentation they are disabled by default.Markus Blske, Lumagate. www.lumagate.se Blog:

The collection rule is disable for site level not at the server level. This means you can view performance data on whole web server and not a particular web site except you enable the performance rule on site level.
