Opening SQL query files stored in SharePoint
I hope this is the correct forum for this question. It seems like a pretty general question. I have SQL server query files saved in SharePoint. When I click on them, they open in notepad. Opening them outside of SharePoint, they open in SSMS, so my file association is fine on my computer. How do (or can) I change or add the association to SSMS in SharePoint?

Hi, This functionality is provided by the operating system. Your internet broswer will make a call to the OS and see what app opens the file extension. You need to change file associations for that file extension. The easiest way to do this is file goto its properies and in the "Opens with" field click the change button and select the app that you want it to open with. This must be all done on the all client machines if you want this behaviour.Regards, Savoeurn Va Microsoft Online Community Support
