Only one agent is not being discovered in SQL monitoring though the SQL MP's are present.
Hi Is this a clustered SQL Server? What version of SQL Server is this and what service pack? What version of the SQL Management Pack? You might want to double check the Run As Account has a login to SQL: http://blogs.technet.com/b/kevinholman/archive/2010/09/08/configuring-run-as-accounts-and-profiles-in-r2-a-sql-management-pack-example.aspx?PageIndex=2 Cheers GrahamRegards Graham New System Center 2012 Blog! - http://www.systemcentersolutions.co.uk View OpsMgr tips and tricks at http://systemcentersolutions.wordpress.com/

Hi, I am using SCOM 2007 R2 CU5. One of my agent is present in Agent Managed and the configuration in up to date and it is Healthy. SQL was installed few days back and all SQL MP's are downloaded but that agent is not present in Computers under Microsoft SQL Server in Monitoring Tab. What I found is? After SQL installation, I could see 10102 and 10103 warnings in OpsMgr event log on the agent. Those events are not re-appearing now. It says that few SQLServer: Broker and Locks counters are missing. I checked the Perfmon and found these counters are not present at all. Do this stops SQLdiscovery in SCOM. Your suggestions are highly appreciated. Regards, Suresh
