Only maintence tasks shown in tool box
Today when I remote in one of our sql server, open visual studio, and create a new integration service project, in the toolbox, I can only see Maintenance plan task there, and general tasks is empty. I cann't see the Control flow tasks. I remember I saw it before. And I ask another person to remote into this sql server, he can see the control flow task when he creates a ssis progject. I don't why this happens to me. I also try to reset toolbox, it still only shows maintence tasks and general. Please help me to fix this.SQLFriend

What do you mean by "Click on the designer surface (canvas), then bring up the toolbox, they should show up then." First the tool box is there, but only has maintence tasks list, no control flow items . Second I tried from View - tool box, it still not shown up. I also tried to reset tool box, reset settings, still not work. But another person remote in, he can seee control flow tasks items in tool box. ThanksSQLFriend

Hi SQLFriend, Please try the following steps, 1. Right-Click the Toolbox, and then select "Choose Items". 2. Tick all the items displayed in this pane, and click OK. After these steps, it will cause all these items to be shown in the toolbox. Thanks, Eileen
