One Table Referencing Two Datasets
Using ssrs 2005 BIDS. There are 2 datasets and I want to bring in information for both on the same table. The 1st dataset is grouped by location. I want the data from the 2nd dataset to be in the same table and to be grouped by location. The following expression in the group row returns the grand total not the location totals: =sum(Fields!Total_Current_Balance.Value, "RetailCDs") Thanks!

If you are using SSRS2008R2 you can try this:- http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/sqlreportingservices/thread/fcf526e9-f553-4883-b848-ca19594ae1b6 Kumarkk

We're using SSRS2005. Is it possible to do what we're asking on the 2005 version? Or do you have to use the 2008R2 version?

No I dont think so you can do with 2005.... u have to have SSRS2008R2 or you can consolidate your muliple data-set to a single data-set. Thanks Kumarkk
