Hi.

- We have a single AD Forest with a single domain.

- We are using SCCM 2012 R2 for OSD and Patch Management of workstations.

- We are considering installing another SCCM 2012 R2 environment for managing our servers.

I am aware that the 'normal' way would be to just let our servers be managed by the same servers, that manage the clients, but because of politics, the wish for a seperate installation has come up.

My question is - is it possible to have to completely seperated SCCM environments in the same AD Forest without causing issues? If it is, what do I need to be aware of regarding Site Configurations, Boundaries, client deployment etc.?
