Hello,

Received the below error in WUAhandler.log. WUagent is with  Windows Update Agent 7.6.7601.18847. I checked the registry.pol and renamed software distribution folder. 

OnSearchComplete - Failed to end search job. Error = 0x8024400d

Scan Error descripts 0x8024400dSame as SOAP_E_CLIENT - SOAP client found the message was malformed; fix before resending. Source: Windows Update Agent

Please help to solve the issue

Try to re-initiate the software update scan and monitor the logs wuahandler.log & windowsupdate.log .sometimes reintiating the software update scan fix the issue but windows update log can give you additional info.

It happens in 470 machines on different WSUS servers. Updating software update scan did not solve the problem.
