Hello Group, I have installed SP2 on our WSS 3.0 Server. There was only SP1 installed. When I go to the Central Administration on our Sharpoint Server I see the correct Version of SP2 12.0.0.6421. But when I go in one of our Wokspaces there is shown the old version 12.0.0.4518. What is the reason for this? Thanks for all replies. Markus

You could try to force executing the update again and see if it is helpful. Hello Lambert, sorry for my late reply. I forced the software update and i found an error. I think, that this error is the reason for my update problems. When i check the update.log i see, that there is a problem with an old workspace ("The system cannot find the path specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070003"). How can i delete this old and orphaned entry? I read in other foren that i will have to delete an recreate the content database. Is this really the correct way? When i remove the content database there is a warning shown "Caution: When you remove the content database, any sites listed in that content database are removed from the server farm, but the site data remains in the database" Thanks Markus
