Old SCCM Server still being Automatically detected
We used to have an SCCM R2 server which got lost when moving it between Virtual Machines. It wasn't used for much as only just setup. I have built a new one and have it working. OSD is working fine and the client are reporting. Only issue I can currently see (although not causing one at the minute) is that if I tell the clients to Automatically Detect the site code it finds the old code BCP. The new one is BPS. So the old code must be stored scomewhere? DNS? I would like to remove it so itdoesn't cause any client issues in the future.

Yes, if the old site was published to AD. Clean old sites objects under "System Management" container in AD, and that should resolve the issue. Regards, Madan | www.madanmohan.com

Yes, delete all the object. The new SCCM server will automatically create new objects every hour.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund
