Offline folder mapped as network drive disappear when PC is disconnected from the network
Hello, I migrate the file server to a new one (Windows Server 2003 -> Windows Server 2008). With a log-on script I mapped the network drive for Home folder with the new server (I mantain the same letter drive), this drive is also set to work off-line. In this way when a user turn on the laptop disconnected from the network he can find the network drive U: with all the files. The problem is that, most of the laptop connected to the network can see the network drive U: and the synchronization works perfectly, but when the user turn on the laptop disconnected from the network the drive U: disappear. Any suggestion? Thanks a lot for the support.
