Official support for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1?
Hello I'm looking for some official information regarding SCCM OSD support for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, have anyone seen it? Also there is a new WAIK available, so I suspect that a new release/update for SCCM is required to get official support... Thanks.

Mike Niehaus has just posted a blog article on Win 7 SP1 and the WAIK update which may answer some of your questions. http://blogs.technet.com/b/mniehaus/archive/2011/02/17/windows-aik-for-windows-7-sp1-released.aspx It seems that the WAIK update is not mandatory, however the ConfigMgr team are still testing Win 7 SP1/WAIK so it is not yet officially supported. The official statement is that a statement will come within 45 days :-) You don't require the new WAIK in order to deploy Win7 SP1Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund
