Office 365 transport-rule not working

Hi everybody,

I've got a question regarding the custom transport rule I created in Office 365.

To keep our network a bit more safe, I want to create a transport rule that forwards all messages with *.exe *.zip *.rar

To a specific e-mail address.

So I did the following..

I created a shared mailbox called "filter@domain.com"

On the e-mail flow tab I created a new transport rule,

Step 1) If the message contains an attachment with the following content:

*.zip
.zip
zip

*.rar
.rar
rar

*.exe
.exe
exe

Step 2) redirect the message to the following address; filter@domain.com

I gave this rule the highest priority (0) and it's application is forced.

But when I send an e-mail with a zip file from an external address, i still receive it in my own inbox.

Did I miss something?

Kind regards,

Tim Grave

"Content" refers to the actual attachment content, use the "Any attachment's file name matches these text patterns" or the "Any attachment's file extension includes these words" predicate. Or just use the "Any attachment has executable content" one.
