OS deployment in ConfigMgr fails with Error 80220005

We are doing a OS deployment via PXE boot to a remote computer and it keeps failing this error. I tried giving this PC new name in SCCM (less than 15 Characters) by right clicking 'Device' > 'Import computer information' and than typing in the new name and existing MAC Address but it still fails.

I have been unable to retrieve smts logs from machine since its remote...... Is there any place in SCCM server where it dumps the logs? or is there any place in SCCM server where i can find what is going wrong with it?

I already checked deployment logs and all it tell me is its failing at 'Applying windows settings'.

smsts.log can be found on the client. MDT task sequence might copy the logs to a share (if configured). Alternative: status messages from that client.

Where are you getting this error exactly? A random error code means nothing with out telling use exactly where you are getting this. To properly troubleshoot, you will also most likely need the smsts.log otherwise its most likely just guess-work.

its failing at 'Apply windows settings' right after 'install operating system' in the task sequence. I have been unable to get smts logs since computer is at remote location. Does a pc dumps any logs back to sccm 2012 if it fails?
