OSD through MDT 2010
Try creating a new package for it and double-check the install is OK on another Win7 system outside of the deployment sequence (run it manually in a VM or something). I'm installing Adobe Reader X using a customized package without any issues. What command line are you running or how do you have Adobe Reader 8 packaged?

That brings up another question... Why are you installing Adobe Reader 8 instead of 9 or 10?

Hi, This can occur if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. You may check if there is any problem with Windows Installer. Please verify if the Windows Installer service is disabled, or simply stopped. After that, you may create a new package to advertise.
