OSD not working on HP ZBook 14 G2

The OSD works on every model in our organization, except this laptop.  The driver installed in the boot image is correct.  The issue sequence is this.  The machine PXE boots without an issue, getting an address, and loading the boot image, but after the system center background comes up, and says loading network connection, the window for the image selection never comes up.  The machine sits at the background for a minute and then reboots as if nothing happened.  Below is a snippet of the smsts.log which may provide some insight.  Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Before the system reboots, can you hit F8 to get a command prompt?

If you can, then run ipconfig /all.  What is returned? Do you get an IP?

Also run diskpart to make sure it can see your drive(s)

Alright so I'm not getting an IP address.  The interesting thing is, the Intel 217 and 218 Nic drivers are the same.  I have loaded the driver for this model into the sccm server, and it shows up as the 217 driver, and confirmed driver versions with the pre-loaded OS.  So this is quite baffling to me.

BTW, diskpart shows up fine with the 1tb drive.

Maybe I should try getting the driver from Intel.

Any other ideas?

It appears straightforward that the driver is wrong, but it's not! lol

Also, thank you so much for your response.

I can't test it out because I don't have that model machine, but try downloading a driver pack from HP for that model:

Thanks for the reply.  I originally did that, that's what I generally do for every model we get in, that's why it's throwing me off.  I'm going to try removing the driver completely from SCCM to see if that does any good.  Will update shortly.

I don't got that Exact model but I got 820G2 and 840G2 boxes

They work with the 12.12.80.19 driver version for 217/218. I always use "clean" Intel drivers for my PE images so that should work for you.

Make sure that you have the correct NDIS version for your PE image too.

Figured it out!  The drivers for Windows 8/8.1 were not loaded.  The drivers for 7 were in there, but since the boot image is 8/8.1, that was tripping it up.  Normally the drivers are bundled all together!  Oh well.  Thanks for the help and responses guys!!
