OSD Offline Media - Can you force a particular task to always be on DVD #1?
Hi, I'm curious to see if you can always force a particular task in your TS to always end up on DVD #1. The reason for my madness is I want to have the very first task (after the offline media password has been entered) to always be a particular script I've written. Since this particular script was added as a task late in the game it has a package ID that puts it near the bottom of an alphabetically sorted list. The script looks for the presence of another script in the same package location. If it's not there, that's the end of the task and it continues on to the next one. If it's there, then that script executes and I can then use it as a hook to modify TS variables before any "real" tasks get started. That way I can modify the DVD set so it is combined as one and prompt for Site Code etc. I don't see any obvious place where you can force tasks to be in a certain order on the DVD set so can anyone help? Thanks.Hay

I not sure you can do that, but one option is to use a USB drive that has enough storage.

I not sure you can do that, but one option is to use a USB drive that has enough storage. Yes, that could be one option, but there will still be cases where Offline DVD media is needed. So instead of having to create and distribute five different sets of DVDs (we have five different Sites), the idea was to prompt for Site Code and simply use the one set of DVDs. Hay
