OSD Driver Problem
I have an issue where I created the Latitude E6410 Windows XP x32 Driver package and distrubute to the DPs (it contains all E6410 XP Drivers). The Package Status says it's on all sites, however the Task Sequence fails saying the package can not be found. I even verified it's existance on the smspkg$ share. I have deleted and re-added the package several times and it still says the package can't be found even though SCCM lists it as being on all sites successfully. Anyone else have an issue like this or a suggestion on how to get this resolved? The model is a Dell Latitude E6410... Thanks!Ron

Have you done an "update Distribution Points" after the initial distribution of the package to take it up to source version 2? Depending on the process you use to create the package and add the drivers it is possible that the package hash is null when it is first distributed. If you do an update distribution points after the initial distribution then this will recalculate the hash value and update the DPs. Mark.

Yes, the distribution point is updated with the most currrent version. I actually verified that the packages are there. Going to bring the drivers in one by one as it seems maybe one of the drivers SCCM doesn't like...Ron

verify that the source version of the package is actually available on the dp's, the source version will be mentioned after the package id in the smsts.log My step by step SCCM Guides I'm on Twitter > ncbrady
