COULD IT BE THE REASON OF EDITING THE LMHOST FILE WITH THE SETTINGS BELOW ON THE WORKGROUP MACHINE,AND I THIS BECAUSE THE WORKGROUP MACHINE SHOWS UNKNOWN AND CANNOT DISCOVER THE SITE IF THIS SETTINGS IS NOT DONE 192.168.1.2 SCCM #PRE 192.168.1.2 "sms_slp \0x1a" #PRE 192.168.1.2 "mp_afi \0x1a" #PRE PLSE SOMEONE HELP ME OUT THANKS ............ Are you just talking about communication of workgroup clients with the Site in general? If so, make sure to add the IP Range or IP Subnet to the Boundaries of the Site and indeed make sure that the client can find the Site and that make sure you have the SLP configured. My Blog: http://www.petervanderwoude.nl/ Follow me on twitter: pvanderwoude

Hi, Which options do you have included in your DHCP scope? DNS Domain name, can you resolve the SCCM servers IP Address? Do you have an SLP configured? The SCCM Client can discover the SCCM Site by using DNS, WINS or an SLP if they are in a workgroup, have you tried specifing SMSSLP=SLPSERVERNAME in the Setup Windows and Configuration manager step in the TS.
