Hi All, I have SCCM 2007 R2 SP2 and I configured OSD in windows 2008 Standard x64. So, for OSD I have a DP + WDS + PXE Service Point in a Separate Server with Windows 2003. This server has one NIC (Gigabit) connected to Cisco Switch (100 Mbps with 24 ports). So, i tested OSD Windows Seven (6GB wim size) with only 3 machines and when task sequence is running "Downloading Windows Imange" it took too long, so I checked Network Utilization in DP and I found that just 10 %. What is the problem? The server must be WIndows Server 2008 to use Multicast? Regards.

Using multicast is optional. Well that's hard to tell what's going on. You have to find the bottleneck ... either a switch, router, the NIC driver, nic driver setting (duplex / speed) ... You can start optimizing after you found the root cause.
