OSD Advertisement is recieved but never starts to run
HI, We are upgrading all of the computers in the organization from Windows XP to Windows 7. We are currently doing the headquarters office (about 250 computers) and everything is going fine. We need to do the Washington DC office of about 70 machines. All offices are the same Site, with each office having its own DP setup as a server share. I've placed the the packages for the OSD on the DP. WHen I advertise it a test machine, it is recieved but never starts running. from the execmgr.log: Content is available for program *. execmgr 7/22/2011 1:12:07 PM 408 (0x0198) Execution Request for package BOS0012F program * state change from WaitingContent to WaitingDependency execmgr 7/22/2011 1:12:07 PM 408 (0x0198) Execution Request for package BOS0012F program * state change from WaitingDependency to WaitingContent execmgr 7/22/2011 1:12:08 PM 408 (0x0198) ContentAvailable ignoring update with no DPs for content request ID {7B07DB82-A61B-4AEF-B7E0-C41614CC6E9A} execmgr 7/22/2011 1:12:08 PM 1836 (0x072C) Content is available for program *. execmgr 7/22/2011 1:12:08 PM 2400 (0x0960) Execution Request for package BOS0012F program * state change from WaitingContent to WaitingDependency execmgr 7/22/2011 1:12:08 PM 2400 (0x0960) Execution Request for package BOS0012F program * state change from WaitingDependency to WaitingContent execmgr 7/22/2011 1:12:08 PM 2400 (0x0960) Content is available for program *. execmgr 7/22/2011 1:12:08 PM 1488 (0x05D0) Execution Request for package BOS0012F program * state change from WaitingContent to WaitingDependency execmgr 7/22/2011 1:12:08 PM 1488 (0x05D0) Execution Request for package BOS0012F program * state change from WaitingDependency to WaitingContent execmgr 7/22/2011 1:12:08 PM 1488 (0x05D0 I don't see any other errors in the logs I know of.
