OSDStateStorePath incorrect value
when I run a "request state store" in my task sequence, the wrong value for OSDStateStorePath is returned. A few months ago we replaced the SMP with a larger server and moved the role SMP to the new server but SCCM returns the old SMP value, Does anyone know how to correct this issue. I dont have a clear understanding where the OSDStateStorePath value is comming from in order to debug this issue.

When you add the SMP role to a server, you are asked to define where on that server the SMP share should be, once that is done, and you run a statecapture step, it will pick up either on of your SMP's that has enough space... To make sure you us the newly created one, I suggest you remove SMP role from you old server!Michael Petersen My Deployment Blog - http://blog.coretech.dk/mip

I already removed the role from the old server and removed it as a site server. I have configured the new SMP but still the task sequence variable OSDStateStorePath is set to the old value. where is this value stored? AD or DNS/DHCP or in the SCCM database, I need some help debugging where the value is coming from.
