Hi All, I'm hoping someone has seen this before - when attempting to create an MA to an eDirectory server running 8.8 SP2 (NDS version 201216.51) I'm receiving the error "The specified server is not running eDirectory 8.6.2 or 8.7." Per the FIM Faq page (http://www.microsoft.com/forefront/identitymanager/en/us/faq.aspx) versions "8.7.3 and 8.8" are supported. Has anyone else encountered this? If so, is there a workaround/configuration step I missed? Thanks in advance, Luke

Connect to your eDir as any user. In the RootDSE you should find a vendorVersion attribute. Create the following registry key: HKLM/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/FIMSynchronizationService/Parameters/eDirectoryMASupportedServers Reg_multi_sz Value: LDAP Agent for Novell eDirectory 8.8 SP2 (20216.46) Update the value to the service pack level you have from the vendorVersion above. It is multivalued, so you can have several versions listed in the registry key. This is a known bug in FIM 2010 and a hotfix will be released for it. No ETA yet. Thanks, Luke
