We added some new Network Devices and a new MP to our SCOM environment. I want to be able to disable enamil notifications that are sent as alerts are created . In our environmnet all critical alerts (High and medium) priority alerts send a notification email immediately as well. As these are new network devices I have grouped them togeather (all instances like chasis , process etc blong to this group) , i want to make sure that i get alerted in console for this group , however no email is generated . How can i accomplish this. More details : I just need to make sure an alert generated by a group (tha contains all entities i needed) is always a low priority Alert so that it doesnt generate a notification email as our subscription is based on Critical high and medium priority. One thing i thought of was to try override all the monitors and rules for the group so that alerts generated for the monitor/rule is Low priority.
