Not seeing all AD sites for boundary assignment
I am having an issue with not seeing all of my AD sites in the list when I attempt to create a new AD boundary in SCCM 2007 R2. I have a SMS 2003 environment in place, and some of the AD sites are assigned as boundaries in SMS. Some boundaries have been removed so that we can set them up in the new SCCM environment. I can see some AD sites that have not been configured for SMS, but the one we removed from SMS are not showing up in the list, and if I try entering the site name manually, it doesnt seem to get applied to the Site object in AD. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Just type the site name in like you did in SMS; all the browse button does is type it in for you after you select it from the list.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys

Hi ChrisIn my experience you won’t be able to select the AD site if it's empty.I had the same problem but once a PC came online in that NEW site.....I could add the boundary.I have no explanation to why....hope this helpsGG-Man8

In my case, NONE of the AD sites appeared when I attempted to select one as a boundary. I did as you suggested though, Jason, and it was accepted and added to the list of boundaries. What concerns me is that I have 16 secondary sites, and only this particular secondary site exhibits the symptoms. I hate when stuff doesn't just "work".
