Hi, you can export the site and import it to the new site by using stsadm or this tool http://spdeploymentwizard.codeplex.com/

Do you have any customisations here, whether they're code, content types, master templates or so on?http://www.final-exodus.net

Hi, What's the version of the sharepoint , did you updated it to the latest or even SP1? please check this http://stsadm.blogspot.com/2007/09/importexportcopy-lists.html you can use stsadm instead also check if the site that you are importing have any features enabled on it? or does it have any webparts that are not enabled or installed at the destination site collection? check if there's any broken feature http://www.moss2007.be/blogs/vandest/archive/2007/08/23/stsadm-o-export-fatalerror-failed-to-compare-two-elements-in-the-array.aspx

I exported the site /sites/pdc by using stsadm –o export command And then I was trying to import to /sites/pdc-arc by using stsadm –o import command but it failed with error as object id is already there in database so I have used stsadm –o gl-importlist command. Then successfully imported however size of the site got reduced from 9000mb to 6000mb ( we had 9000mb in pdc site but when import completed we have just 6000 MB in destination site)’ Not sure what data is missed. Please can you let me know how can I know what data is missed Ram

This would be a manual process of reviewing and comparing the export log to the import log to see if there is a difference and perhaps note some items that failed to export.Fred Ellis - MSFT - "Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
