Hello , I created a wiki page library and when I change the mode to Actions----->Edit in data sheet,it opens in Data sheet view. But I am not able to edit the data sheet.The data sheet is frozen. Am I missing something? Is it possible to do that. Thanks.

Wiki page library is a place to store pages, why do you want to edit it in data sheet mode?SharePoint Gardener in China

Folks, it is weird that in Wiki page, Action-----> "Edit in datasheet" option will only come with IE. This option itself is not there in Mozilla Firefox and google chrome. Any idea? Thanks.

Hi Sriram, Firefox 1.5 and Mozilla 1.7 is not compatible with the Edit in Datasheet view feature. IE8 recommended in order to make better use of all the functions in SharePoint. Many of you have commented that you cannot use datasheet view in wiki pages, however it does offer the button (not greyed out) in SP2010 using IE8 and works properly for some columns. When you try to actually update the cells, on of my columns says it's read only (muitiple lines of text) so it won't update but the other (single line of text) allows you to type in the field and it actually updates ithat column of info! I have over 400 wiki pages in the library and I am trying to put in data to use for search results and was wondering if anyone knew if there is a column setting to use to allow multiple llines of text to update in the same way....anyone? Thanks!
