I have the following file I want to make the new homepage of our Sharepoint intranet:

I'm guessing that I make the change somehow on the following settings page within IIS, but it's not clear how I get it to look at the specifc file. What do I need to change, can you help please?

Thanks but I can't find from it a direct answer for my question. This last post on the thread touches on it:

"You can put a page named "app_offline.htm" on the root folder of your SharePoint webservers. This would redirect any request to any pages in your SharePoint farm to this HTML page. For this to work the page size should be > 512 KB, put some junk HTML in commented state to this page"

I have the new default.htm page as mentioned in the first graphic above. But I don't know via the second graphic above how to change the current homepage to this file.
