Non-Admins Cannot Change SCEP Policy Settings
I have given our end users the ability to change their own scan schedules in the SCEP policies. The policies are being applied correctly, and the option to change the time is available but they get an access denied error when they try to save the new settings. What else is needed to allow them to change the scan schedule? We cannot give them local admin rights. I have seen other posts on this issue but no resolutions.

I faced the same problem and we concluded that this may be by design to not allow the normal user account to fiddle with SCEP settings. I have not heard anything official on this though.

Ravinder's response is helpful, so I know I am not the only one experiencing this restriction. As he mentioned, he hasn't heard anything official on it and neither have I. I wonder why that is.

Yes, I know this is an old post, but Im trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?

Since no one has answer this post, I recommend opening  a support case with Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) as they can work with you to solve this problem.
