No username and password boxes on new lock screen (build 10074)

I have Windows 10 build 10074 installed, domain joined.  Everything was fine for a day or so then suddenly I no longer saw the username and password boxes when trying to log in.  Disabling the new lock screen via the registry is the only way to get the logon boxes to re-appear.  As soon as I re-enable the new lock screen the problem comes back.  I have had this issue with every build I have tried.

I don't know if it is related, but the problem started shortly after associating my domain account with my Microsoft account.  Disassociating my Microsoft account did not fix the issue.

Hi Ben,

Have you tried to press CTRL+ALT+DEL key combination.

I have also update my lab machine to new build 10074. There is no this issue.

I suggest you remove your PC from domain and logon with local admin account to see if the issue disappear.

If it persists, please refresh the PC to resolve this issue.

Yes, I have tried CTRL-ALT-DEL (and just about every other key) - it makes no difference, the boxes never appear.

I have refreshed the installation 4-5 times and this issue always comes back, regardless of the build I have.  Any time the new lock screen is enabled I cannot log in.

Just tried dropping my machine out of the domain - doing that also fixes the logon screen, and the boxes appear.  However, that is not a solution as I need my machine joined to the domain.

Interestingly, at initial logon, after reboot, I don't see the chess knight icon on the lock screen, but I do after logging on and locking the computer.  In any case, the username and password boxes appear.

Joined back into the domain and the problem is back.
