Hi,

I have added a new measure group in our cube and deployed to the server but i was not able to see any data from the measures. I tried to access the data browser in the BIDS and also tried to access the cube from excel but nothing worked for me. I tried by processing this single measure group and also did full process but no luck.

When i tried to process the measure group, i was able to see the number of rows from the source query but see no data in the cube.

Could you please help me what was causing for this issue?

Could be a lot of things. Do u see anything in the cube when browsing the main tables/view?

To start with, do u see data when u go into the DSV and click "explore data" ?

Yes. I can see data in the DSV with Explore Data option and i can also see row count in the measure group when designing the Aggregations with 'Aggregations Design' tab in the BIDS. But see no data when accessing the cube either from the Analysis Services, excel or from the Browser option in the BIDS.

Is there any dependent dimensions that got added in cube with this?

See if dimensions have related reference data present and you've not set it to ignore keynotfound error. If that set processing will go ahead even when it cant find matching reference keys but you will not get any data when you browse the cube.
