No TPM file generated.
After successfully enabling BitLocker on 5 or so laptops, I figured that I had it down to a science...then came this last machine. A new Dell Latitude E6440. I enabled TPM in the bios, loaded Windows 7 Enterprise, let BitLocker encrypt the C drive (saving the key to a new USB drive) and added the TPM and PIN Protector. When I went to back up the usual .txt and .tpm files from the USB, I noticed that there was no TPM file and GOOGLED away for an hour or so. I even wiped the drive and started all over and STILL no TPM file. I can't figure out how to generate/export one, either. Any ideas? Thanks!

You should let MBAM initiate encryption.  Then it can own the TPM, and back both the TPM OwnerAuth and the recovery keys to MBAM without any manual effort on your part.

How are you recommending MBAM initiate the encryption? Manually using the MBAMControlUI client or using the StartMBAMEncryption.wsf script

If the script which version of the MBAM Encryption script do you use as there seem to be various version on the internet.

Thanks
