No Client Push Installation
hi all. I try to install different client machines, when I see Ccm.log file on the server, I can see the installation attempts to customers. But does not perform the installation of these. In the log I see the following:Getting a new request from queue "Incoming" after 100 millisecond delay. $$<SMS_CLIENT_CONFIG_MANAGER><Mon Feb 15 14:29:09.579 2010 Central Standard Time (Mexico)><thread=4540 (0x11BC)>Waiting for change in directory "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\inboxes\ccr.box" for queue "Incoming", (30 minute backup timeout). $$<SMS_CLIENT_CONFIG_MANAGER><Mon Feb 15 14:29:09.585 2010 Central Standard Time (Mexico)><thread=4540 (0x11BC)>Received request: "CMZSERRCASTANED_NMP_COM_MX" for machine name: "CMZSERRCASTANED" on queue: "Incoming". $$<SMS_CLIENT_CONFIG_MANAGER><Mon Feb 15 14:33:41.252 2010 Central Standard Time (Mexico)><thread=4540 (0x11BC)>Request "CMZSERRCASTANED_NMP_COM_MX" for machine "CMZSERRCASTANED" has expired and will not be stored in queue "Processing". $$<SMS_CLIENT_CONFIG_MANAGER><Mon Feb 15 14:33:41.258 2010 Central Standard Time (Mexico)><thread=4540 (0x11BC)>Deleted request "CMZSERRCASTANED_NMP_COM_MX", machine name "CMZSERRCASTANED" $$<SMS_CLIENT_CONFIG_MANAGER><Mon Feb 15 14:33:41.264 2010 Central Standard Time (Mexico)><thread=4540 (0x11BC)>The log shows the requests for the installation of clients, but soon the SCCM says that deletes them. Request "CMZSERRCASTANED_NMP_COM_MX" for machine "CMZSERRCASTANED" has expired and will not be stored in queue "Processing". $$<SMS_CLIENT_CONFIG_MANAGER><Mon Feb 15 14:33:41.258 2010 Central Standard Time (Mexico)><thread=4540 (0x11BC)>Deleted request "CMZSERRCASTANED_NMP_COM_MX", machine name "CMZSERRCASTANEDThe request was expired; thus it was deleted. Do you actually right click on the machine or collection and select "install client" on the admin UI?Thanks,Minh.Minh

thakns for the replayYes, I did it using the option "install client" in the console. The thing that I don't undertand is that, why the SCCM delete the request for the machine?

Hi Eric, so the client doesn't begin the install. The files for the client installation aren't in the client (C:\windows\system32\ccmsetup doesn't create). When I send the client using the console, in the ccm.log appear the following:Received request: "CMZSERALOPEZG_NMP_COM_MX" for machine name: "CMZSERALOPEZG" on queue: "Incoming". Request "CMZSERALOPEZG_NMP_COM_MX" for machine "CMZSERALOPEZG" has expired and will not be stored in queue "Processing". Deleted request "CMZSERALOPEZG_NMP_COM_MX", machine name "CMZSERALOPEZG" Getting a new request from queue "Incoming" after 100 millisecond delay. Why the SCCM delete the request???

Hi, Did you select "Always install" when push the client? If not, select it and see is there any changes in ccm.log

Thanks for the replay, I used the 'Always install' option. In the ccm.log apperded the same as the before event: recive the request, process the request and again appeared the delete the request. I saw that the delete request is with some clients, if I delete the client from the console and then discovered the same client again, the push installation works. But with other clients doesn't take effect.

The problem is that the CCR file has the date of creation for more than the 7 days, the SCCM doesn't take this as a good file
