When can we expect the next DPM version? 2012 R2 has lived for quite a while now.

The next major version of DPM will be part of the next System Center release that will support the next version of Windows Server currently in BETA.

In the meantime, DPM 2012 R2 continues to be enhanced in the form of new features released in update rollups.

Okay, so a couple of questions, why am I not seeing error code explanations for ID 30501 and 33123. We are running 2012 R2 / Host with Hyper-V , pushing to a EMC SAN for backup

What do those two errors say ?

Most likely those two codes are part of an alert and the real error code will be in the failed job details for which that alert was issued.  Please check the failed job details and see if there is a better error code.
