We are installing SCCM 2012. We have two servers one is a dedicated SQL server and the other is our primary SCCM server. Both are running Server 2012. I installed the WSUS role through Server Manager. Then I checked to use Database instead of WDI. Pointed it to our SQL server instance. Then I installed the SUP on SCCM and used the custom site. But after I complete the SUP I get error messages about the WSUS version is not 3.0 SP2. 

The installed WSUS build (0.0.0.0) does not have the valid and supported WSUS Administration DLL assembly version. Please install WSUS 3.0 SP2(minimum 3.1.6001.65) or above SMS_WSUS_CONFIGURATION_MANAGER 7/19/2013 2:08:56 PM 4352 (0x1100)

Windows update shows up to date. I tried to install the hotfixes I found as requirments for SCCM 2012 SP1. But they will not install on Server 2012. What am I missing?

Did you complete the post-install action as well for WSUS? What if you start the WSUS admin console can you connect to the WSUS Server?
